I love this as if you look close enough you can see the bees ‘eyes’ on the top of his head. I’m not completely sure of the anatomy of a bee, but I will be checking on that now!
I was going to zoom in further before adding here, but I also really love the overall effect of how the photograph turned out, so I left it as it was when taken.
Attempting an artistic shot while the cat was minding his own business. A lot to work on, but it was very spur of the moment.
This one I think benefits from the naturally foggy atmosphere. I tried a slow shutter speed to try and utilise the what daylight there was - unfortunately I have not yet purchased a tripod for stability so lost some sharpness in the trees.
Used the digital screen here to angle the camera, at some point I reckon I’m going to have to just brave the dirt and get down to ground level to find the perfect shot.
Another foggy day, but I’d been struggling to get out with the camera this week so thought I’d use the opportunity to try out using manual mode. Definitely did not do this shot justice, could have done with some enhancement on the colours perhaps.
Down at the Falls in Richmond. Apparently once you’ve mastered the settings of shutter speeds you can make the water look more streamlined and fluid or freeze it in time to look more detailed. Once I’ve practiced a bit more I’ll retake this to compare.
