This site began with a bit of an explosion, a rush of ideas I had spinning together from different areas of research I had been doing, into various areas of modern day living. In an effort to begin collating my work I set up this site to see what I could make of it all, and also where it all might take me. Additionally, I decided to add my camera to the equation and attempt to add some natural beauty and imagery to the project.
I want to thank those who visit this site for joining me on this journey, I hope you find it interesting and thought
provoking.

I started this page during a rush of motivation, but also during a time of uncertainty, I have been experiencing an awful lot of health issues, still being investigated but a likely diagnosis of fibromyalgia this has been extremely challenging to deal with, coming from a previously very physical background. Currently employed as a firefighter I have been unable to carry out normal duties for some time and it seems as unlikely I will be able to any time soon. This leaves you wondering what you are able to do with your life, and how you will be able to support yourself, so I decided to explore the things I enjoy, which are varied but not completely unrelated, merely untrained!
I wanted to add this edit after becoming aware that I was finding it difficult to add content as often as I would like due to unpredictable energy & brain focus levels. After returning to work, all be it on admin duties, I find my time largely controlled by the need to function for essential daily commitments, and any additional activities have taken a hit in this regard. Non the less, I intend to continue at my own snails pace and remain grateful to all who bear with me during this process. The ideas are many and flowing, I just need to learn how to manage the small periods of productivity I achieve, giving up I have decided is not an option - slow & steady wins the race!
